Would you
give an hour
to give them
Hope?
One hour can change a life...
The One hour of Hope campaign
asks people to make a monthly pledge
equal to one hour of their earnings.

It may not seem like one hour can make much of a difference. But consider:
  • $7.25 (the current minimum wage in Indiana) provides 3 hot, nutritionally balanced meals to people who would otherwise go hungry.
  • $14.42 (the hourly equivalent of a $30,000 per year job) will allow a resident to participate in Hope's substance abuse recovery program for 2 weeks.
  • $19.98 (the hourly equivalent of $41,565 which is the medium household income in St. Joseph County) will provide one child with a full day in our Hope4Kids early childhood development program.
  • $50.00 will provide professional case management services to a single mother for 3 weeks.
